Continuing Education has given me the ability to change my occupation: Attending Durham College has been an inspiring experience. I began years ago with the intention of fine-tuning my skills in the retail environment. Since then I have expanded into my love of art and design. Continuing Education has given me the ability to change my occupation to something I love to do. The teachers have been more than helpful in my pursuit and I have made a host of new friends and business associates. It has been and is a wonderful experience.

Loyalist College

I studied public affairs and policy management theory at university. Loyalist’s post-grad Public Relations program is showing me how to put that to work. I’m focused — planning, developing, and honing my communication skills. When I graduate this June I’ll be ready — speechwriter, P.R. advisor, researcher, political candidate — the choice will be mine.

The adult education program is challenging and highly flexible. What I enjoyed the most was the faculty’s ability to tailor the program to your discipline. In addition, I have had the privilege of meeting wonderful colleagues from different professions and academic institutions.
